NorthBay is our electronic music act, consisting of two musicians: Edward Wilson-Stephens and Elizabeth Wilson-Stephens. We write tracks for record labels such as Militant Science Records, DJ using CD-Js or Ableton, and perform live using Ableton and various controllers.

 

 

 

 

Our mission is to create tracks which not only showcase the freshest and most vibrant sounds in electronic music today, but are also routed firmly into the soil of dance music; soaking listeners with a classic but future-proof sponge of audio. It is important for us to write songs which, individually, can be categorised comfortably into their intended subgenres whilst, collectively, are not limited to one particular style. Along with our own diverse musical influences, there have been many interesting progressions within dance music in recent years, so we feel that it would be wrong not to take hold of everything and create our own take on it all.
